In order to show that the UV effect works by transmitted light as well as reflected light, transparency images were painted with UV paints, in the same way as the prints, followed by laminating and sticking to a transparent acrylic sheet.
A light box was constructed containing both tungsten and UV lights to view the light effects.
It’s possible to see the lamps behind the transparent sheet in both UV only and Tungsten + UV lighting conditions, in order to avoid this a frosted semi-transparent sheet would probably be better.
